Race to Erase
Race to Erase
Saturday October 5, 2019
Gather your team of four, and help us put an end to gender inequality!
Race to Erase is an annual fundraising event where teams compete in fun-filled challenges throughout our community, all in support of local charities. YWCA Cambridge is proud to be involved as one of the many local charities you can choose to support this year!
Donations raised and directed to YWCA Cambridge during Race to Erase will directly support our programming for cis and trans women and girls and non-binary and two-spirit individuals. Over the past three years, the Race to Erase in Cambridge has raised over $45,000 for a variety of charities.
This year’s race is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever, aiming to support at least thirteen different charities and non-profits in our Region.
Ready to Race? This is a chance to connect with your teammates, other Race participants, local businesses, not-for-profits and your community. With the race and all stops being volunteer-run, 100% of funds raised from your participation will serve local charities.
Register your team today and get ready for a fun-filled day!

The success of this incredible event would not be possible without the support of our corporate community partners. To raise as much money as possible for all charities, we rely on local businesses to help offset event administration costs.
The race is the perfect opportunity for businesses to create social impact while showcasing their work. Valued corporate partners are needed to offset administration costs in all areas of this event, from food & beverage supplies to rental equipment. With the help of community partners, we are able to keep event costs at a minimum and create a 100% model, with all donations supporting the charitable work.
