Festive Futures

This annual holiday giving program brings together our community to help deserving women enjoy the holidays. This program is open to graduates of our Small Steps to Success Program.

Each year, through the generosity of our community supporters, we are able to provide gifts and necessities to help make the season brighter for some of our program participants.
This is your chance to provide a woman in our community with a little something special, just for her, this holiday season.

By shopping from our wish list below, you will help to provide a woman with a gift just for her, maybe the only gift she will receive this year. And, most importantly, you will let her know that she is not alone this holiday season.

Black text on grey background reads: Holiday Wish List: Pajamas (sizes xs to 4xl) Slippers and socks Toiletries/toiletry sets Games such as crossword, Sudokos and word search books and puzzles Colouring books for adults and children, with pencil crayons Cozy holiday treats (hot chocolate, teas, chocolates etc.) Candles, bath bombs and bubble baths Grocery gift cards Book store gift cards Winter coats, mittens, hats and scarves for women and children of all ages and genders

Please consider helping to provide a special holiday gift for a woman in need in our community. For some of our participants, the holiday season is a lonely one. Your support will let her know that she is valued and cared for. You can provide a light at an otherwise dark time of the year.

There are several ways to get involved:

Financial contributions are greatly appreciated and will be used to purchase items needed to support women and families throughout the season. Donations of $10 or more will receive a charitable tax receipt.
Thank you to all of the generous individuals and organizations that have embraced Festive Futures over the years and continue to support throughout the pandemic. We are truly grateful for your overwhelming support through this difficult time.

If you would like to personally shop for gifts, we have a list above of frequently wished for items at the holidays plus some winter clothing essentials that are always needed by the families that we serve.
This is a great way to feel personally connected to your gifts and the participants that will be receiving them.

If your organization is looking for a rewarding way to come together and help people in our community at the holidays, please consider a group program sponsorship. Your team can gather items from our wish list or fundraise through holiday bake sales, bottle drives or any other way you find to come together to help our community over the holidays.

Additionally, if your company is able to provide new stock items such as toys, clothing, art supplies and/or books, we have a great need for these items across all programs at the holidays and beyond.
