Festive Futures

Festive Futures

This annual holiday giving program brings together our community to help deserving families enjoy the holidays. This program is open to graduates of our Small Steps to Success Program.

Each year, through the generosity of our supporters and volunteers, we are able to provide gifts and necessities to help make the season brighter for some of our program participants.
This is your chance to support a woman who has, and continues to, work hard to support herself and her family but needs a bit of extra support to make the season bright and festive for herself and her children.

There is still time to support Festive Futures this year. Financial contributions are greatly appreciated and will be used to purchase items from a wish list. Donations can be made online through the button below up until December 20th. Donations of $10 or more will receive a charitable tax receipt.  Thank you to the generous individuals and organizations that have embraced Festive Futures this year. We are truly grateful for your overwhelming support.

There are several ways to get involved:

Don't have a lot of time to shop but want to make an impact? Make a direct donation to YWCA and the funds will help support this program, and so many others. On average, our holiday helpers spend $50 for each woman or family member in need over the holidays. But we are grateful for every dollar that we receive.

If you would like to personally shop for gifts, we can supply you with a wish list. For some of the women in our programs, this will be the first time they have been able to tell someone what they would like for the holidays, thanks to you. This is a great way to feel personally connected to your gifts and the families that will be receiving them.

If your organization is looking for a rewarding way to come together and help people in our community at the holidays, please consider a group program sponsorship. Your team can select to support one family or several and celebrate the holiday season by helping others.

Additionally, if your company is able to provide new stock items such as toys, clothing, art supplies and/or books, we have a great need for such items at the holidays.
