Social Action & Advocacy

Since its establishment, YWCA Cambridge has been active on issues that impact women and girls. As much as women have made gains in some areas, we have not achieved equity and equality which makes the advocacy work we participate in and provide leadership to, much more important. Locally, our advocacy priorities mirror that of YWCA Canada and include; child care, women's economic security and advancing the leadership of girls and young women.

Social Action & Advocacy Committee of Waterloo Region

The guides offer comprehensive resources for community individuals, educators, parents, community agency staff and/or healthcare professionals.
